Join us in creating a future where every individual's rights and dignity are upheld, and communities thrive in equality and justice.

About Us

Welcome to the Organization of People for Justice (PFJ), a grassroots movement committed to fostering positive change within the Vavuniya district of Sri Lanka. Founded in 2019, PFJ has emerged as a beacon of hope and empowerment, uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds under the common goal of advancing justice, equality, and solidarity.

Through our three dedicated units - the Economical Development Unit, Human Rights and Social Movement Unit, and Women Development Unit - we tirelessly work to address the multifaceted challenges faced by our community. From promoting economic growth and livelihood opportunities to advocating for human rights and gender equality, PFJ is dedicated to uplifting the voices and rights of all individuals.

With a steadfast commitment to grassroots organizing, advocacy, and community initiatives, we strive to create a brighter, more equitable future for all residents of the Vavuniya district. Join us in our journey towards a society built on fairness, dignity, and opportunity.

Discover how our Economical Development Unit is making a sustainable impact in communities. Through our innovative approach, selected beneficiaries receive 60kg of paddy seeds to cultivate. Once harvested, they return the same amount of seeds to us, which we store for the next planting season. This unique cycle ensures continuity in agricultural production, promotes self-sufficiency, and builds resilience within communities. By participating in this program, beneficiaries not only meet their immediate food needs but also contribute to long-term food security. Hear from those whose lives have been transformed by this initiative and learn how you can support our efforts. Together, we can create lasting change and empower communities to thrive.
